50% off Clearance at Old Navy

I love this sell! Every few months Old Navy does a weekend sell where all Clearance Items are 50% which means its a great time to stock up on kids clothes for very little money!

The last Clearance sell was back in Febuary I was about to pick up 5 pairs of shorts for my 6 year old. They were on clearance for 3.00 which means I picked them up for only 1.50 each, which tax I believe my toltal was right around 10.00 which fit perfectly in my monthly budget.

For those of you that are new, my goal every month is try to pick up a full out fit for 15.00 or less either for myself or my two little girls. Now granted I only picked shorts this month, but I'm still pleased with how I spent 50% of this months budget.

Spring is in the Air!

So this month was all about spring! With warm weather just around the corner I knew that I wanted to find some type of crop pants. So that became my treasure to find. Now I already picked up an Old Navy purple Cardigan from a thrift store for only a ($1.00) the month before (which is similar to the one in the photo but only a little longer, otherwise pretty much the same) as for the crop pants I almost thought I wasn’t going to make. It took me 3 weeks to find a pair of crop pants that I liked. But I did it and for only ($4.00)! I found a pair of New York Express Cargo Pants from 2 seasons ago from a consignment shop, but because they have such a basic cut and style they will still work for years to come. I also picked up a basic Down East White Cami for layer under the cardigan for only $2.00. In total I only spent $7.00 for all three pieces, not to mention saved $72.50 from original retail prices. Not to bad.

Lightweight Jacket for Spring

So every month I take on the challenge of finding a full outfit for $10.00 or less. Yup you read that right $10.00 or less. Although sometimes I don’t always hit my goal I get pretty darn close. For this month I wanted to find a lightweight jacket for spring. Once I found a Jacket the rest of the outfit fell into place.
I found an Old Navy Jacket at one of the local thrift store for only ($7.00) it was in perfect condition. I also found a great pair of boot cut jeans there as well, for only ($5.00). To add the splash of color, I bought a new blue shirt on clearance at Old Navy for only ($2.99). So in all my total came up to $15.00, which is $5.00 dollars over my target goal, but with a savings of over $70.00 I thinking it was money well spent.
